从事认知神经科学研究，尤其是多模态的磁共振成像研究（脑功能磁共振成像、脑结构磁共振成像及扩散磁共振成像研究），包括创造性思维研究、社会认知研究、临床精神疾病研究和中医心理及情志病研究等。围绕相关领域在国际SCI和SSCI收录期刊发表论文20余篇，相关刊物包括：《EbioMedicine》,《European Child & Adolescent Psychiatry》，《Human Brain Mapping》，《NeuroImage: Clinical》和《Brain Imaging and Behavior》等刊物。目前，主持省部级项目6项。从事本科及研究生教学，主讲《心理学研究方法》、《社会科学研究方法》以及《实验心理学实验》等课程。社会服务方面，担任《Frontiers in Psychology》客座主编；并长期担任《Nature Communications》、《Autism Research》和《Neuropsychologia》等期刊通讯评审专家；担任广东省中医药学会中医心理学委员、广东省基础与应用基础研究基金通讯评审专家、广东省师培中心高校教师岗前培训授课专家。
