A complicated and severe epidemic is going on. At the critical moment of epidemic prevention and control, the School of Public Health and Management is strictly implementing the requirements of the University for tightening campus infection prevention and control, while caring for the life and mental health of all graduate students in quarantine and health observation, in order to protect the physical and mental health of both the faculty and all students.

On the morning of Mar. 19, Huang Yitian, Deputy Secretary of the CPC Committee, Ma Lijun, Vice Dean and some counselors of graduate students of the School of Public Health and Management paid a visit to 5 graduate students quarantined in the International Building. The leaders talked with the workers on site and asked them to pass the care and energy from the School to the students. The counselors inquired the students about meal delivery, emotions and study in details, about the difficulties and inconveniences they were experiencing as a result of the lock-down, so that the School may offer timely support and help. The students were told to respect the quarantine requirements and ride out the period of observation safe and sound.

Appreciating and touched by the care from the leaders, teachers and other students, the quarantined students expressed their thanks on WeChat. They added that they would definitely observe the epidemic prevention and control rules, do well in health check and try to get back to normal life as early as possible. The School will continue enforcing the epidemic prevention and control rules, pay attention to humanistic care and heighten the confidence of the faculty and the students in defeating COVID-19.
